The Sunday Night Improvisational Collective
or Sunday Night IC (who could say collective?)
Taking place on Sunday nights in your mind
it's a jam, it's a spaceship
the crew is a fluctuation event flux
the one constant is Leo Whitebird
look him up
The recordings in general are made from a single microphone
with permission given to Richard Knutson (me again)
to edit, loop and enhance forthwith and width
sometimes more
sometimes less is more
The first set of recordings now packaged as
represent the sometimes less approach
mostly recorded in 2004
tracks like Bim and Falafal Balls in Mint Sauce
We Were There and Dinner Time
are Sunday Night IC without any overdubs
Psychedelic Paraphysicals and Bedraggled
were overdubbed by the band
All other overdubs and enhancements are the thing I get up to
late at night...
10 tracks from the 2009 period
a nice mix of sometimes less sometimes more
Dirty Bongos from 2011
is surely the sometimes more approach
A mythical fourth CD is in the works
unfinished as of plastering
this CD attempting to remain pure
Devil Sheep should reach a finished state in 2014
